Hiking to Dog Lake

One of the last hikes of the season. We only had a few hours so we headed to Dog Lake at the top of Mill Creek Canyon. Just a short hike to a lake with beautiful veiws, flowers and a stream almost the entire way. This is a great hike for dogs and people alike. We unfortunatly didn't bring Dakota (I think she is getting too old). But she would have loved it. We also took up a picnic and ate surrounded by wildflowers looking at a lake. We were still hungary on the way back down so we decided to "live off the land". Don't worry we didn't really... we did have alot of fun though. We are sad summer is coming to an end but looking forward to the upcoming ski season. Should be a good one!
